For the L-Sit Pull Ups, grab the bar with an overhand grip and your arms about shoulder width apart. Before you begin the pull up motion, lift your legs up perpendicular to your body so that you are in the "L" position. From here, pull up till your chest hits the bar and then return to the starting position. Hold your body in the "L" position throughout the entire exercise.
This exercise focuses on your arms back and core. With your body in the "L" position there is more emphasis on your abs. Also, this position takes away the initial momentum your core creates to help propel you up, so the pull up motion is slightly more difficult and favors your arms.
