Incline Push Ups

For the Incline Push Up, find a rigid object that is raised higher above the ground. The higher the object is raised above the ground, the easier the exercise will be. Next, position your hands on the object about shoulder width apart and place your feet behind you so that your hands are positioned at the same level as your chest. From this point, continue the standard motion of a normal push up moving up and down for the allotted amount of reps.
This exercise focuses on the lower part of the chest. The decreased angle between the arms and the body causes the pushing motion to engage the lower half of the pectoral muscle.
