Decline Push Ups
For the Decline Push Ups, find a rigid object that is above the level of the ground. The higher the object, the more difficult the exercise will be. Place your hands comfortably on the ground about shoulder width apart. Then climb your feet up on top of the rigid object. From this starting position, perform the standard push up motion lowering your body down and then raising it back up. Repeat this motion for the allotted number of reps and then rest.
This exercise focuses on the upper aspect of the chest and shoulders. The elevated legs create a greater angle between your arms and the ground so that you are putting emphasis on the upper chest.
